Since day one here at Harvest Records in West Asheville, we’ve strived to create a uniquely warm & welcoming space dedicated to the discovery of music. We’re excited to announce that this summer marks 15 years of doing just that! And we think that fact is worth celebrating.
Every five years, we present a series of live concerts over the course of an August weekend under the moniker TRANSFIGURATIONS. 2009’s version included War on Drugs, Kurt Vile, Budos Band, Bonnie “Prince” Billy + more; for the 2014 edition we hosted Angel Olsen, Lee Fields, The Clean, Mudhoney + more. Our aim is always to highlight an eclectic array of artists reflecting both our tastes and the collective taste of our customers, and TRANSFIGURATIONS III will be no different. We make it a priority to book musicians that would not normally perform in Asheville otherwise.
TRANSFIGURATIONS III will take place over three days, August 22-24, 2019 at the Orange Peel, Diana Wortham Theatre, The Mothlight, Grail Moviehouse & Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center. Can't wait to celebrate with y'all!
